Three reasons a grocery screen outworks the rest of your budget

A feed scrolls past. A radio spot plays to an empty car. The grocery store is one of the last places where people are present, unhurried, and about to spend money — and that is exactly where we put you.

They actually look up

The grocery store is one of the few rooms left where people aren't staring at a phone. They're reading shelves, comparing labels, looking for the aisle they need. Our screens live in that line of sight — at the door, along the main aisle, at the register.

Nobody has to follow you, subscribe, or click anything for it to work. The screen is simply there, bright and moving, in a room where people are already looking around.

  • No skip button, no ad blocker, no scrolling past it.
  • Placed at eye level, where shoppers already slow down.
  • Your spot runs on a loop, not as a single impression.

You get more than a glance

Half an hour is a long time to share a room with someone. Shoppers pass the same screens on the way in, again while they work the aisles, and once more waiting to pay. A short spot in the loop reaches the same person several times in a single visit.

That repetition is what turns a name into a name people remember — and it happens inside one trip, not across a three-month campaign.

  • Repeat exposure to the same shopper on the same trip.
  • Run breakfast messaging in the morning, dinner after five.
  • Change the creative as fast as your promotion changes.

Point of purchase

The decision happens ten feet away

Most advertising asks someone to remember you later, somewhere else. Ours doesn't. The shopper watching your spot has a cart in their hands, a wallet in their pocket, and the aisle a few steps ahead of them.

That's the shortest distance you will find between seeing a message and acting on it — whether you're a brand on the shelf or the dentist, gym, or law office two blocks up the street.

  • Reach people at the point of purchase, not hours before it.
  • Run beside the category you sell into.
  • Local services: be the name people see on the way home.

The brightest LED screens in NYC

Storefront glare kills most in-store signage by ten in the morning. Ours is built for the front window: commercial-grade LED that stays readable in direct sunlight, and just as sharp at the back of a dim aisle.

  • Sunlight readableHigh-brightness panels that hold their color through a south-facing window.
  • Every open hourScreens run the full trading day, from the first coffee run to the last checkout.
  • Placed on purposeEntrance, main aisle, coolers, checkout — wherever your shopper actually stops.
  • Updated remotelySend a new price or a new promotion and we push it to the network the same day.
  • Content includedWe design the spot with you. Motion, type, and product shots built for a screen people walk past.

What it looks like from the sidewalk

Not renders. These are our screens in neighborhood store windows, shot from across the street — through glass, past reflections, with the light coming from the wrong direction.

Met Fresh. Three screens in hard afternoon sun. This is the shot that answers the brightness question — the glare and reflections don't wash the message out.

What's on screen

A spot has about three seconds to land with someone pushing a cart. Here's the kind of work that does it — short, loud, and tied to the moment the shopper is already having.

Good coffee. Better days.

Catch the 7am trip

The first hour of the day belongs to one-item shoppers: coffee, milk, a roll. A screen at the entrance with four words and one warm photograph is all it takes to add a second item to that basket.

Works for: coffee and creamer brands, bakeries, breakfast sandwiches, banks and clinics reaching commuters.

No contracts. Ever.

Questions people ask before they book

What is Frank's TV?

Frank's TV is a New York City digital out-of-home advertising network. We place high-brightness LED screens inside neighborhood grocery stores and run your ad in a loop while shoppers are in the store, a few steps from the shelf.

Where are the screens?

In independent and neighborhood grocery stores across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island. Tell us the neighborhood you want to reach and we'll send you the stores we cover there.

How much does it cost to advertise in a NYC grocery store?

It depends on how many stores you run in and how many weeks you run. Because there's no contract, you can start in a handful of stores, see how it performs, and add more from there. Call (973) 768-4227 or email info@frankstvs.com and we'll price your neighborhood.

Do I have to sign a contract?

No. Frank's TV is month to month — no long-term commitments, no cancellation penalties, and no hidden fees. If we don't earn your business, you should be free to leave.

Do I need to supply the ad?

No. Send us a logo, your offer, and any product photos, and we'll design the spot for a screen someone walks past. You approve it before it runs. If you already have creative you like, we can run that instead.

How quickly can my ad go live?

Usually about a week from the time you send your details — most of that is building and approving the creative. Once your spot is in the loop, changing the message takes a same-day remote update.

Can the screens be seen in daylight?

Yes. We use commercial-grade, high-brightness LED that stays readable in direct sunlight, including screens facing a storefront window — and it's just as sharp at the back of a dim aisle.

Who advertises on Frank's TV?

Two kinds of advertiser. Food and beverage brands that sit on the shelf a few feet from the screen, and local businesses — dentists, gyms, clinics, banks, law offices, real estate agents — that want to be the name people see on the way home.

Let's put your brand on screen

Tell us the neighborhood you want and we'll come back with the stores, the screens, and a price. No contract to sign, and no pressure if the fit isn't right.
